Producer

MoonTime Farms is located by Fern Ridge Lake near Veneta. We have a total of two acres which consist of a one acre field we’re transitioning with permaculture techniques and plants, a 1/4 acre field in which our produce is grown, a small field for the free range chickens, pear trees and a berry growing space. Our starts greenhouse is surrounded by many varieties of flowers for cutting, including Daffodils, Peonies, Iris, Dahlias, Roses and Zinnia among others.

We use natural farming methods and practice sustainable agriculture. Most of our soil is produced through composting. Our compost pile is quite large and is fed by leaves, broken down straw bales, grass clippings, field debris, and any extra produce that we can’t sell, give away, eat ourselves or feed to the chickens.
MoonTime Farms is run by two people, one with another job, and we are always open to bartering for a little labor. There are many jobs on a farm!


We also welcome farm tours and volunteers. We'll gladly teach you what we know!
