High Wire Farm resides in the Southern Willamette Valley of Oregon, 10 miles south of Cottage Grove. The majority of the farm and my family’s property it resides on sits atop a hill, overlooking the Coast Fork of the Willamette River. The soil, forming at one time in history the banks of a much wider and wilder Coast Fork, is extremely fertile (for those who know the lingo, a “Bellpine Silty Loam”), and supports a wide variety of native plants and animals.
We operate a 30+ member CSA, sell to local restaurants, at the Tuesday Creswell Farmers market (4-6 PM behind the library throughout the season), and sell on consignment through the Coast Fork Farm Stand in Cottage Grove throughout the season.
Connecting with other farmers, sharing knowledge, and building a sustainable community of people while learning the skills to live independently and yet interdependently; these are our humble goals.

Here at High Wire Farm we grow and sell mixed vegetables and fruits containing no pesticides, herbicides, or other harmful chemicals. Our crops are raised on as few externally purchased inputs as possible within a locality that enables a strong relation between the farmer and the community being fed. Natural practices such as these are second nature to those who grow food for the love and for the lifestyle - and though we are not a certified organic operation, we simply wouldn't know how to do it any other way.
