Producer

We have lived on our very small farm north of Junction City for over 35 years. Our children are grown and now we are going back to what we enjoy - micro-scale farming. We have a large garden with a variety of vegetables and berries and we have about 75 Lohman Brown chickens for eggs.
Our hens are raised in a humane environment with an airy coop and individual, large nest cubbies. During the day they are in one of 3 large pastures where they are happy and contented. Three pastures allows us to rotate use so there is plenty of vegetation. Their natural diet is supplemented with grain and never includes unnatural chemicals or additives of any kind. Our chickens lay natural brown eggs.
We grow our favorite veggies and berries in our garden. Tomatoes are a big favorite as are corn, carrots, green beans, soy beans, broccoli and garlic to name a few. We use natural weed and pest control practices such as mulching, hand weeding, and rototilling.
We enjoy the flavor and freshness of home-grown groceries and hope that we can pass that on to our customers.
